Parts of what is included in the Oslo vision is to make modeling even more important. They will do this by creating a new modeling language and tools, which will be the replacement of the Whitehorse-tools. The backward compatibility was ensured at several times though. Today TFS, BizTalk and System center all has their own model repository, but they will create a unified repository that all this and also other products will use. They even hope that third parties will use their repository too.
