Two SOA-related Announcements from Microsoft

Yesterday Christian Weyer (thinktecture) wrote about two interesting SOA-related announcements from Microsoft. Both was totally new for me.
The first is Microsoft Managed Services Engine (MSE) that "enables service virtualization through a Service Repository" and by doing so provides "the ability to support versioning, abstraction, management, routing and runtime policy enforcement for Services".
The second thing is codename Oslo that was announced at SOA and Business Process Conference, where he also was allowed to post a pdf written by Directions on Microsoft that describes the idea and vision.
Of course Sam Gentile also covers both Oslo and MSE, but in his post about MSE he also writes that version 3 of Web Service Software Factory will be released today.
